We use this page to report the carbon dioxide measurements from the Mauna Loa site in the Pacific. The graph will include some previous years' results and the current year up to the last month. The last month's results are usually published around the 8th day of the next month.


This year's pattern is much like any other year, the September to September results show the ususal annual increases which are due to our injections of fossil fuel carbon, modified slightly by the varying ocean temperature. Next month's results should show the usual end of photosynthesis and the onset of the rotting cycle.
